Chervine was born in Tehran, raised in Paris, and is now based in New York. A self-taught photographer, he explores urban life and everyday moments through a cinematic chiaroscuro. Working only with natural light, he rejects staging, cropping, or retouching, preserving the integrity of each instant. His work has been exhibited internationally in Paris, Geneva, New York, Miami, and Venice, with highlights including Paris Photo, Photo London, Photo Basel, and AIPAD in New York. He is represented by Galerie Esther Woerdehoffin Paris and Geneva.
In 2025, his first book, The Shape of Color, is being published by Snap Collective. Spanning a decade of work, it traces how color moves through the urban fabric, capturing moments at once transient and timeless.
His most recent exhibition in Italy took place in Portogruaro, beautiful medieval town close to Venice. See an immersive video here.
